Blue Meds create a spectacular look in any location with their blue color. These are slow growing palms with multi trunks. These can be trimmed for a manicured look or left natural with a very full puff ball type look.
They can be used in containers with good drainage.
As with any palm tree, good drainage is important and easy to achieve. Please see our “Planting in the Ground” page.
Full to Partial Sun - Cold Hardy to 5˚F - Height to 12’ to 15’ in 50 to 60 years
Growth Rate is 3" to 4” a year, depending on location in your landscape.
